The only way a tree can produce fruit is if it’s given the time to grow and mature with all the essentials of water, environment and sunlight to accommodate it. In like manner, we as believers can only grow to maturation and produce the fruit that God requires if we yield to the power of the Holy Spirit working within us daily. The seed of salvation that we received has to first take root, and if we remain in the environment of fellowship with the Lord, he is faithful to accommodate us with all that we need to bear his fruit.
